CENTRAL PA WOMEN OF INFLUENCE AWARD RECIPIENTS ANNOUNCED
Harrisburg, PA March 28, 2011 – Michele McHenry, President & CEO, Laser Lab, Inc, of Ephrata, PA) has recently been named one of Central Pennsylvania’s most influential women in the Central Penn Business Journal’s Women of Influence Awards program. Twenty-five local women business leaders have been selected to receive the 2011 award recognizing their outstanding leadership, integrity and accomplishments in the midstate’s business community.

The Women of Influence awards were created in 2010 to recognize midstate women leaders who are influential in their companies, industries and communities. An independent panel of judges selected this year’s award recipients: Dana Chryst, Chief Executive Officer of The Jay Group; Constance Foster, Partner with Saul Ewing LLP; Linda Goldstein, Vice-President and COO with Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC; Kim Phipps, President of Messiah College; and Sally Dixon, President and CEO of Memorial Hospital.
All award recipients will be honored at the Central Penn Business Journal’s Women of Influence event to be held on Monday, May 16, 2011, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Hilton Harrisburg. The award recipients will also be profiled in a special supplement to the May 20, 2011, issue of the Central Penn Business Journal. This list will also appear in the Business Journal’s 2012 Book of Lists publication.
In addition to the 25 “Women of Influence” awards, three special awards will be presented. Aimee L. Urban, COO of Way Services Inc., will receive the Community Achievement Award. The Woman to Watch Award will be presented to Kristina A. Pae, Communications Associate at the Harrisburg Academy. The “Lifetime Achievement Award” will be presented to Holly S.
